I'm sure PSG will eventually be in for him anyhow. One day spurs will have to up their wage bill and we'll start getting value for ours

I'd love that. He can take Deli with him and Chelsea or United can get Kane leaving Lukaku for us.

I would love it if Pochetitino left. He's better than Wenger. Spurs need a Harry Redknapp or Sami Allardicci at the helm.

Unfortunately with all the speculation re Isco, James, Morata, M'bappe, Bakayoko etc we're not linked to any of them.
I fear that the scenario re our management and our own list of players entering their last 12 months will take priority,
and at best we'll replace the number who depart bit not their quality.  If we fail to retain CL then all bets are off if we retain AW as manager.

Hazard is not a 'galactico'. Not in the same league as Benzema and Bale, let alone Ronaldo.

Agree, he tends to get over rated a lot, because he can dribble at speed, but overall he is nowhere near those guys. He's also very inconsistent.

You make him sound like dribbling is his only asset. He was terrible last season but was player of the season before and will be again this season. His assist+goals output is great and he's a one man army when Chelsea counter attack.

And saying he's not on the level of Benzema who's been average as can be this season... Smh. Bale was overrated too when he was a Spurs player too, right?

Hazard has never hit more than 20 goals a season. He has no business being talked about with the likes of Ronaldo, Benzema, Bale, Messi etc.

He seems to be popular with fans, but for me he's a good player but doesn't convince me to be amongst the best.

Benzema is questionable because he is incredibly flakey. Bale is in a different stratosphere to Hazard.

I loved Hazard when he was a young player, and I'm not saying he's not a very good player, but he's nowhere near the best players in Europe in my opinion. Too streaky, too powder puff, not enough goals or goal threat. He's just not that good. Flatters to deceive lots and lots.

Benzema has no business being talked about with these guys either.

Benzema's useless this season. Morata has played a fraction as many minutes and still outscores him. I agree with Ricky though. Hazard is not close to Real's wide men, either in terms of talent or status.

It's always the case until they move to Barcelona/Madrid and people start realising how good they are.

Hazard is easily up there with them.

If Ozil is (was) good enough for Madrid than Hazard certainly is.

Agreed. He's not Ronaldo but he's as good as the others.

Özil is about twice the talent Hazard is.

Jose did a number on him like he does with most young creative players. Their was the potential for greatness but he's not where he should be in terms of his development. Maybe he can get back on track.

Jose is working simular magic with Martial at the moment. He's done simular things with oscar, Mikel, tried his best with Mata, Sahin and even Joe Cole.

I forgot that Mourinho was the one who wrecked Sahin. He was so outrageously good before the injuries and still only got like 50 minutes of playing time in an entire season at Real.

Does that include Messi, since he's one of the ones mentioned?

Messi doesn't play for Real Madrid.
