Watched that video - it's incredibly disturbing and arguably his worst one yet. Condemning Nazi's unequivocally is a slam dunk for any President and yet he's managed to balls that up. It's also damning that he's said he needed more time to establish the facts before making a statement and yet never gave pause if there was a terror incident involving non-white actors.

It's also amazing that American media think they still have a right and left wing. It's just the far right and centre right - and has been for at least 30 years.

What are the chances Trump clears out all his own psychos and just gets in bog standard GOP psychos instead? That seems his only logical option at this point.

Trump is making enemies with everyone. Himself. That would be, IMO, his biggest domestical political problem. My guess is that these latest firings, getting rid of the obvious psychos, will help the Republicans possibly enough to pass the enormous tax cuts for the rich they are all dying to implement. After that I figure the Republican establishment is pretty much done with Trump, as he then will have served his purpose. He is attacking Republicans pretty much on a daily basis, and they certainly won't show any loyalty to him when the time comes where he will most definitely need it.

I don't know about that. They're a pretty spineless bunch. He attacked them all through his campaign and still rowed in behind him after he won the nomination. Of course there is no loyalty with them but they'll still back him if it they think theres a chance not doing so will give Dems any more power.

Trump will be the guy the Republicans blame in the end for all the horrible policies they all love; fuck the environment, set up Wall Street for another financial crisis, be racist, hate on women and LGBTQ people, more money to the military, move the position forward for Christian schools etc. Thankfully, they are so divided among themselves they couldn't fully agree on throwing 20 million people off healthcare, but taxes are different; their bribers all want that, and on this one I reckon they will even find a few Democrats to help them out. Reckon they will cut their losses with Trump after that, and as more and more people see and feel the repercussion of these policies they will blame it all on Trump.

Trump will end up "serving" the Trpublican part/agenda for years as they'll distance themselves from Trump rather than the agenda.

Have never thought of Trump as a Republican.
He is a renegade who would better serve his own interests by creating a new party.
If Bannon wants to destroy the current system of democracy, that is a realistic way to go.
Third parties haven't succeeded here to any lasting degree, however, a Trump third party might find some serious consideration in 2020. With Bannon working on the outside. That is if the Republicans really do separate themselves from him.

Well, it seems they have started to raise 2020 campaign funds already.
If he doesn't run, I assume he will be vocal as ever. Ye gads! Woe is me!
