We're looking pretty poor at the moment but I can't believe we wont see at least 3 players come in before the window closes. I'm almost certain we wont do as much business as we should be I'd be surprised if we don't get enough to at least be close to 4th by January, if we look in danger now we'll probably spend again. The board loves 4th

there are loads of players out there who will improve us and who we could feasibly get - goetze, hazard, mata, kagawa, honda, martin, de rossi, rossi, banega, jadson, marin, lucho, eriksen, benzema, kaka...

if wenger rolls out the old "we only want to add super quality but it's not there at the moment" line then he's worse a manager than i thought

my point is just that wenger needs to bring in some serious quality now. no bargains that might come good in a few years. things could quickly turn hostile at emirates if he doesn't change his transfer policy and we struggle this fall.

i think we need cahill (or another quality cb), either banega or an am like hazard/gotze/kagawa/mata and a striker.

get banega and move wilshere to the am spot or sign an am to replace cesc.

We need more passers of the ball. The lack of composure, awareness and ability to pick out a final ball was alarming against Newcastle. Some players out there couldnt even play the most basic of passes. Roles have reversed now, before we had too many playmakers and not enough runners but now we seem to be overloaded with runners without the quality playmakers to pick them out.
