Yeah i did include him. Would say he is in that general category of players.
My wish for today is this;
Midfielder - Luiz Gustavo/Paulinho/Strootman in that order Forward - El Shaarawy/Llorente/Adrian Lopez/Pato in that order LB - Luke Shaw as understudy to Gibbs
Bonus - Wilfried Zaha as one for the future
If we were looking at fullbacks, I would hope we'd sign somebody better than Gibbs to be honest, and who knows where Sagna will be playing next season?
If we sign Shaw it'll be a fairly positive sign that Wenger doesn't see Gibbs as the long term answer - finally some sense.
They are separated by six years.
Don't see any sense in another fullback project myself when we already have 2, a dud in Santos, and a proper fullback who's probably gone next season.
Don't think Gibbs is great, but he's pretty solid in most departments. If we can get a proper talented prospect, don't mind Gibbs keeping the seat warm for a year or two. Don't rate him, but we have bigger issues.
