Find it hard to believe. Napoli will sell because they could use the money and the player would want to leave. Dortmund don't need the money and Götze doesn't want to leave.

He's pretty untypical in the sense that he drops so deep. He might just be the hardest-working forward in the game at the moment. It's a rare, rare quality to be able to score so many goals with that in mind. There's intelligence between them ears.

Surely Jovetic is more attainable than Cavani? Or at the very least its a bit strange to say we won't get Jovetic in this lifetime and then think we have a chance at getting Cavani....

We won't get Jovetic because City have already had a formal bid for him turned down. When he decides to leave they will be back. Just like Chelsea, Barca and all the big italian clubs. He's no more attainable than Hazard was this summer. It's not just about the price tag.

The only club that really need Cavani on the other hand is Chelsea, but I doubt they will invest heavily in any more strikers for a while.

If Cavani is available there will be a queue of big clubs lining up to bid massive money.
