Ben Arfa would be an immense signing, and if we are going for a striker it would be preferably someone fast, agile and technically gifted.

Most definitely, Japan is definitely a better team than Korea.

All is not lost though, Korea still have some precarious talents in their ranks. Son-Heung Min from Hamburg springs to mind.

Not really 'wish-listing' him but Abdel Barrada from Getafe is a player I like a lot. Saw him a few times last season and then more at the Olympics. He's started this season very well. Tall and versatile attacking midfielder who has a great strike on him and he knows how to score goals. Great feet too and he can carry the ball. One to watch.

My friend in Germany keeps telling me that I should watch Inui, but it's difficult to find games with Eintracht Frankfurt. He's getting a lot of hype in the papers at the moment though. Lot of people have likened him to Kagawa. Youtube makes him look like the biz.

He definitely is quite good. Won't be surprised if either of those 3 gets a big move within the next 3 years.

You seem to have a good knack at spotting Japanese talents. IIRC, you were the first in A-M and here to spot Kagawa. Or is your friend a jap living in Germany? 😉

Nah, she's a Swede with German roots. 😉 On Kagawa it was mostly coincidence. I was visiting her when she lived in Gelsenkirchen and happened to see the game where Kagawa dominated Schalke. He scored two and assisted another or something like that. Some players you can just tell are going to be brilliant. The way he moved on the field was world-class back then too.

Soldado would have been perfect! No way we are getting him though, he extented his contract in Jan this year.
