I think it's because they pay their players a lot. Barca pay more in wages than City do too and they have a smaller squad than Real Madrid.

I know. I was simply asking what Clarence based his assumption on that Real Madrid DON´T pay their players a fortune.

I thought that Higuain and Kaka were the players being discussed initially..?

Actually I was thinking of Higuain and Sahin, missed out the point on Kaka. Has Higuain signed a new contract? Or is he still on the old one? Think the old one would be quite low?

Btw, I am quite sure Yaya Toure's wages is 2nd in the world which is quite astonishing.
