I think we need more goals in the side too. Our top scorer in Premier League after 12 games is Robin van Persie with 13 goals to his name. After him Arteta, Gervinho and Walcott have scored two each. It makes me worried.

I'm just not sure we're going to get more up front by bringing in a less-than-world-class option than we would by internal promotion.

To stabilise up front we (arguably desperately) need cover for Van Persie, but to improve with Robin on the pitch we need an exceptional creator and finisher who can probably play both wide in the front three and "in the hole", yeah?

Capi, I think we would be more likely to win a bid for Kagawa than one for Goetze. We need to get a superlative talent like Goetze on board, but I have little faith in this club's ability to attract and compensate stars.

It's easy to forget that Kagawa is/was perhaps the least experienced player on that pitch tonight (along with Ramsey) in terms of top level football.

Not too sure about that Cali. Too self-absorbed and egotistic, and might not fit in here with our style. He's the type of player that wants every attack channeled through him and needs the team working for him, rather than the other way around. Plus he's a bit static for a center forward. It's why Barca cut him off. Didn't work hard enough for the team.

Most importantly, Zlatan is a winner. Wherever he has played for the last 8 years or so - that´s where league title has ended up.

Him being on the wrong side of 30 now, close to 100 kg, I am not so sure that will be the case anymore. He has been pretty crap for the last 6 months, by his own standards.

Is he a winner or does he play for winning teams? Not doubting his quality but it's not like he is lifting these guys from the doldrums into contention.

I think it's a bit of both. He arguably carried Milan to the scudetto though.

Speaking of the wish list, we were linked to Stevan Jovetic in the summer. He's been pretty great for a poor Fiorentina side this season. Natural wide forward too which is incredibly rare. I would love to have him at Arsenal. Think he's an ideal player for us.

As far as i'm aware he can also do a job through the middle, so quality back up for van persie as well.

He's more of a support striker but he could do a job both in a 4-4-2 or a 4-2-3-1 system. He's a versatile guy.
