Lol. He's done a job this season when he's been healthy for the Galaxy. And MLS football isn't as bad as it might appear from the outside. The better teams would hold their own against the teams placed around 15 -20th in the Premier League. It's no longer League 1 stuff.

As for Keane, can't be worse than some of the other names I've seen bandied about... Drogba for example. He's made a career out of making Arsenal fans buy Kleenex.

I'm looking at short term options that can be used when Gervinho is gone to West Africa for what will be a month right as all four trophy chases start heating up. my assumption, again, is we don't have money or that Wenger will never spend it to bring in the Hulks and Hazards we fantasize about.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Arsenal have shown interest in signing Daniele De Rossi. His contract with Roma expires at the end of the season and the negotiations just broke down. He's on record saying that he doesn't want to play for another Italian club if he does move.

I'd kill to have him here. Fucking hell, what a signing he would be. He'll probably extend his contract with Roma when all is said and done, but this thread is called the wish list for a reason.

That's the worst possible link, Klaus.
He's my favorite midfielder in the world, one of the best players of last 5 years. First, the American owners would be stoned by Giallorossi fans if they let him go. Second, if he does go, Mancini would offer £30m to Roma and pay him £200k a week. We'd be left holding our nuts. I don't want to even think about this guy. Focus on Keane.

Cali: City seem like a likely destination if he does leave. Real might be interested in signing that heir to Redondo that they've spent a decade looking for too.

At any rate, fuck Robbie Keane. 🙂 I'd rather use the wish list to talk about great players we're not going to sign than utter dross that we aren't even interested in.

MLS is crap. i see better football in the indoor league i'm in now. you'd literally have to pay me at least $50 to even consider going to a match. it would be work, so i'd expect to be compensated for it.

as for de rossi, not going to happen. we happen to need a forward more, anyway.
