I'm happy with Benayoun as long as we sign another midfielder too, someone like Lucho or M'Vila plus Benayoun would sort out the midfield. Then Santos and Park and a centre half would put us back together again.

Probably means nothing. As we know with Arsenal, "doing your best" means little with our incompetent transfer dealings. But at least we get a couple of days of excitment.

For me an Arsenal "wow" signing usually falls into the
"wow, you can't be serious who the hell is he?" category
or the plain old "Silvestre, please say you're not serious" category.

A Hazard or a Kaka signing would be far, far beyond "wow".

I'd actually go out and celebrate that level of signing.

for some reason i think it might be easier to get kagawa than goetze. he is not german and was injured latter half of last season.

Either of Kagawa or Gotze would be a brilliant signing. Can't see Dortmund selling either to us though considering we'll be playing against them in the CL.

Mental end to the transfer window this. Looks like Wenger's woken up from his transfer coma. There's more links than I can keep up with at the moment. It's good that we're trying to strengthen a number of positions, but I badly want us to make a blockbuster signing, a creative player for sure. SSN going to be entertaining tomorrow.

Nothing like an 8-2 massacre to rocket Wenger out of his coma.

There has to be one big signing in him surely?

The defenders are so so, steady enough signings but we need something that's going to really revive, electrify and elevate everyone from players to fans.

I wish that I didn't have this dread that Wenger won't see it that way.
