Yeah but thats when Rose and Walker come down the flanks. Son has been playing in the middle most of the time anyway since Kane got hurt. If Monreal/Gibbs/Jenks is trying to track Lamella/Eriksson into the middle and watch Rose/Walker thats where we can end up in a mess.

if our wingers aren't putting enough fear in their fullbacks' minds that they feel comfortable attacking like that then our wingers need to do their defensive job. can't have fullbacks marauding in attack because they don't even rate your ability to beat them and you don't track back.

What's the story with Theo/Bellers? I thought Theo was a minor thing, and Bellers just happened before the trip in training?

Don't think Ramsey's ready to start. But I didn't like Iwobi's form and attitude in recent games. If everyone's available, I'd go:

back 4 (with Gibbs)
Coq Santi
Ozil
Feo Alexis Ox

But if it's Iwobi for Ox I wouldn't worry. Good time for him to get back to himself.

Thats why I really hope Theo is back. He can stop full backs getting brave.

They've barely been able to score this season, not particularly worried about their attacking set up. More worried about ours, we've been having trouble breaking down the defensive teams. Reckon it'll be worth playing Giroud for this one just so we might nick one off a set piece here and there hopefully.

Spurs really poor tonight. We will beat them well if we are up for it and they bring this form to the Emirates.

Dembele went off with an injury problem too. They will in all likelihood be starting without Alderweireld, Kane, Dembele and Lamela.

The commentators mentioned the possibility of Kane being fit for Sunday. Not sure Lamela's injury is anything major either, could be just a precaution for him to miss the game tonight.

I wonder if they have one eye on our game already. They definitely look jaded at the moment. Not the usual high-octane stuff.

Yeah, if they don't qualify for KO stages it will be an absolutely retarded decision. The difference in gate receipts isn't going to make up for what you will earn in the KO stages.

We, like much of the premier league, look very poor at the back so even with Spurs on this run wouldn't fancy us not to concede some big chances and maybe a goal. We just need our attack to be firing which on the whole this season it has.

Yeah we've been fairly open at home this season so can't see a clean sheet here. However, Spurs will always be Spurs. They blow hot and cold more than us.

As much as I love Ramsey, I'd start him on the bench for this if Walcott and Santi are back. Aaron, understandably, doesn't look completely up to speed yet, and we have better options at this point IMO.

Walcott and Hector should be back by the sounds of it, the former has a test today and the latter could have played on Tuesday.

The bad news is Gibbs is a doubt, so is Nacho and Santi still hasn't trained since his injury.
