Coquelin and Xhaka has to be our most underwhelming midfield combination. I don't get why Coq starts in games like this. It's just a way to make sure that the ball never gets delivered into the spaces we create in the attack.

Yeah, agreed. He's pressing high to create space. He has zero passing ability once he actually gets the ball though. Ramsey is perfectly suited for that role but Coquelin's good attributes are wasted.
Very risky sub, our midfield was already a bit porous even with Coq in there...
