That was priceless, really showed she's as shallow as a puddle too, especially putting that in an edited and published op-ed. I was deeply enjoying the thought of Unionist public figures—who I take to be among the huffiest, most desperate people in the world eh?—getting twisted about it.
My dad tells an old joke about Paisley I enjoy, goes something like this … Paisley's delivering a long, ranting monologue of vitriol at a town hall meeting.
"—and if we allow them to do that, there will be much wailing and gnashing of teeth," Paisley intones grimly, concluding his address. An old woman in his audience raises her hand.
