All of this was to be expected, including the reaction
from the media and western governments. Its in such stark contrast to the way Ukraine was being defended by all of Europe and the West from the threat of being annexed by Russia, something Palestine effectively already is.
Hamas' inexcusable attacks last week have just made matters worse for the people they are allegedly fighting for, and given Israel the excuse it needed to completely level Gaza and whatever remains of the West Bank. We've sent 2 war ships down there to help "defend" Israel ffs.
Have to say I'm extremely disappointed by Zinchenko's response as well, considering how vocal he was trying to get the world to condemn Russia. His comments are very hypocritical for someone who was less than a couple months ago still arranging matches to raise money in support of Ukraine. But then again maybe he was worried about being called antisemitic if he said anything else.
