I don't see anything extreme or aggressive in what I wrote. I simply pointed out what I'd noticed from Gurg's posts on these subjects in various threads over the last however many years. Because of his posting history on topics that are even slightly related to Turkey and Islam, I find it hard not to question the objectivity of his posts. That being said, I also commented that it is understandable why that was given his Armenian heritage. How is that in any way abusive?
Anyways biases exist in everyone and develop through your own first hand experiences and through the experiences had by those around you. That's life. Anyone that wants to pretend they are completely unbiased on all topics is lying to himself. Like I mentioned previously, if I notice a biased view through a pattern of posts over a sustained period of time I'll start find it hard not to question the objectivity of that person on that subject.
You're making a pretty loaded accusation formed purely based on someones heritage and political/world views. It's a dangerous path to do down, is dismissive and completely unnecessary.
Of course Gurgs has done his best to go down the exact same path with various passive accusations since, so whatever.
No goon, it's actually quite the other way around. It's not that I though he was biased because of his heritage. I though he was biased because of the content of his posts over the last 7 years or since we've been here. Learning of his heritage only helped me understand why this may be.
Anyways, I did not make any wild accusations, simply a comment that I have noticed biases in his posts on the matter and that he has a negative opinion of Turkey and Islam. Something he himself has admitted.
I appreciate Gurg's posts on a whole host of topics and the forum would not be the same without his contributions. However like I said before, everyone has biases on certain topics. If Gurg is upset with what I said, he knows where he can discuss this further.
