I wonder does he like playing up top? He's so involved on the wing even when he's poor but he is so out of the game for us now. In games like this I wonder would a straight swap with Giroud result in us improving or would the whole flow of the attack fall apart without Sanchez.
It's structure vs flow. If the latter isn't working then the former isn't a bad fall back option.
I mean in terms of space for Theo, etc does bringing Giroud on for Sanchez mean less space, etc or better build up? Its something that would need to be seen but its very hard to drop someone as good as Sanchez to find out.
Pity Girouds out today, have to think Sanchez has another 20 minutes max after being away with Chile. Hope we get to see Perez up top in a straight swap.
I'd love to see Theo and Sanchez swap for the first 10 minutes here too. Give Swansea a new set of problems to deal with. Especially given how easy its been to get in behind them.
