He's extremely predictable on the right flank too but it doesn't stop him from scoring there. It's not like he's suddenly going to pull off a dazzling dribbling raid. He gets the ball, speeds off towards goal and tries to cut inside if possible.

He's got a good thing going with Hector though, I wouldn't really want to break that partnership. Any reason why Aaron can't play on the left rather than the right? He only sticks to the wing defensively anyway.

Really don't like that idea. Part of his improvement this season has come from simplifying his game - e.g. his dribbling has improved because he doesn't try anything complicated, but clearly still has the ability and pace to quickly move the ball forward. Playing him on the left ruins that, as he'll have to play as a completely different type of winger, dribble more, cross less. In theory he might score more goals from being in a better shooting position, but his finishing from tight angles on the right has always been a major strength. I'd be hesitant to do anything that could ruin this recent run.

I wouldn't like to see him benched. I think we'll miss him hugely as soon as he is out of the team. He is one of the main reasons we are playing good football at the moment.

Though true in general till now (and I expect to remain true later), he was not one of the reasons we were good (when we were) in the last game.
Maybe it is sensible to ignore one game, but I think it's a bit early to consider him an automatic inclusion.

Don't think so. The lad is honestly a world beater, he just oozes class and intelligence, on the same wave length as Özil, Santi, Alexis, etc. in combinations and link-up play at the age of just 20. Give him any kind of ball at his feet and he'll kill it with his first touch, and before you know he's already made his next move. He's one of the main reasons we can maintain the pressure around the opposition's box at such a high level this season. We're drowning in big chances created.

Give me Iwobi over some thick twat like Martial or one-trick pony like Rashford any day of the week.

Still very raw, there's patches where he suddenly seems to phase out mentally.

But some of the stuff he did v Swansea was unreal. Haven't seen that from our youth since Wilsh wowed us on his Emirates debut. Iwobi has even more sparkle.

Brilliant talent, but we need to manage him carefully. He was very, very sloppy at times against Swansea; he gave away several simple passes.

He needs proper competition.

He'll get proper competition when Rambo's back. There's also the off chance any of Ox or Lucas stepping up.

he's been pretty poor lately. i could see the ox or lucas starting instead of him in the next league game.
