My question was countering this statement above.
He was never our best player, he did have a very good season opposite of Nasri and alongside Van Persie on the wings in 2011 (?) and then he scored quite a few and did very well in 2013 when we first signed Cazorla and Giroud. Not our best in either of those seasons though
