New guys were great too. Mustafi looks very good with Kos. I've thought the criticism of him in recent weeks was harsh and I'm calling it now, he's great.

Xhaka did everything you'd want from him when he came on too. Great passing and vision, strong in midfield, disciplined. Can't wait for him to start playing regularly.

iwobi plays like hleb and i loved hleb at arsenal. he has the potential to be a really good goal scorer and that was the only thing holding hleb back.

I think so too but he has so much more end product to his game than Hleb.

He still has much to learn especially in defence, but we've never really had anyone come through with qualities like Iwobi.

The best thing i can say about Xhaka, in this game, is we didn't miss Coquelin who was very good before he got hurt.

Iwobi is nothing like Hleb. Hleb collected the ball deep and brought it into danger areas. Iwobi does that a little but he does a lot more of other stuff. Great off the ball, finds space in the box, shoots and plays final passes, etc. Has way more in his locker than Hleb had even during his purple patch.

Iwobi is a gem in the making.

He will also further grow physically. The sky is the limit for him.

Definitely. Iwobi is on a different level but that ability to keep the ball under pretty much all circumstances is unique and something that Hleb had in his locker aswell.

Honestly, we have looked quite good in the League, even other than today.

Liverpool rankles, but I can overlook it. First game of the season, we played with Chambers and Holding and no one can tell what hit us after Coutinho's free kick.

Wenger just said Coquelin has the same problem as last year and he hopes Coquelin isn't out as long as he was last year though.

Fucking injuries. Nevertheless, it was quite cool we had Xhaka to bring on rather than say a Flamini.

Iwobi has really progressed since last season. Wonderful performance. Kos-Mustafi were like prime Campbell-toure!

All round great team performance. Out and out superb. Even after 90 minutes we were chasing every ball! Once of the best 90's i have witnessed in recent times! Domination!

Typical us really, everytime we seem to have settled on a team that works, injuries strike and disrupt everything

Kos and Mustafi did look really good winning the ball back. We'll see how good they are positionally in future matches.

Don't quite think this team has what it takes to top City though. Hope I'm wrong.
