Okay
Gizzus a name then. Who you want as your madness. Keep it semi reasonable, assuming Wengs is prepared to spunk up to £80m on a player.
Me first then
The summer OMITT I'd like my madness to be...
James Rodriguez
Your turn...

Griezmann. He has a release clause. Activate it and sell some folks in January.
I would have liked it to be Griezmann, but unfortunately he turned us down.
So now im also gonna have to go with James, but Zidane also said yesterday that he's going nowhere.
Reus

You can activate it, but if the player doesnt want to agree personal terms, its useless
Can't Dick Law hang him from a balcony and encourage him to sign as Suge Knight did Vanilla Ice?
Assuming this thread is for next summer as there will be no madness now that we have Mustafi+Perez in.
I think if Draxler has a good season in the Bundesliga, Wenger should go and get him.
If Perez does alright but doesn't boss it, bringing in Benzema is intriguing to me as well.
Think Benzema is getting too old now to still be considered.
Next summer madness could/should still be Griezmann, but also Aubameyang as we should finally look to phase Giroud out of the starting XI.
James to round this summer off would be great. Couldn't find his way into a Madrid squad missing it's entire front three so surely his game time this season will be limited under Zidane. Offer them an opportunity to make their money back on James and I'm sure it's something they will consider.
Ronaldo.
There were rumours last season that he was being offered around, with PSG especially mentioned, for £48m. The story was Real didn't want to pay those mega wages now that he's moved out of his peak and is in decline, that they want to build a team based around Bale instead (lol). There have also been lots of stories since about him agreeing a new contract; "Ronaldo will sign a new contract".... at the end of the season, before the Euros, after the Euros, before the start of the season.... but it still hasn't happened.
I think if there's truth to the whole madness thing then it's this we're trying for. Sure, his wages would be two or three times what Sanchez and Özil earn but when a guy has won three Ballon d'Ors and as many Champions League then he's kinda of earned that right.
He'll no doubt sign a new contract any day because Real would be mad to sell him, the Euros showed what a phenomenal player he still is. I'm sure the stories linking him to other clubs were all part of getting one more mega contract from Madrid, but then stories of him being unwanted at Madrid and shopped around are not something that's gonna come from his camp obviously - so maybe there's something to it?
I reckon the next phase of Ronaldo's career won't be as a flying winger scoring 50 goals a season, it'll be as a Number 9, out and out. I think he has serious potential to make that transition and continue to score as these unbelievable rates - there's a lot said about Ronaldo's intelligence relative to Messi but the guy is simply other worldly in the box, his movement is second to no one - I hope Real don't have the imagination to see that possibility. Wenger's eyes would have no doubt lit up watching him this summer in the role.
Maybe next season if he doesn't sign this new contract, with only a year left....
Next season United need to replace Zlatan, he wouldn't pick us.
Yeah i mentioned that before and was ridiculed. RM would absolutely sell him for a decent offer. However the trick is to convince him. Though i wonder if he would like to mess with his status among Utd fans.
Think this is his last season for RM. Madrid have serious interest in Hazard and its Ronaldo who occupies his position.
I wouldn't mind Isco on loan.
Dont think Ronaldo has any interest in leaving Real Madrid tbh.
James, griezmann, or insigne.
Don't think Ronaldo would ever happen, can't see us paying out 200-300k per week in wages for anyone. Also doubt he'd be interested.
Messi or Neymar. Reach for the skies.
Being semi realistic, then James or Aubameyang.
Aliadiere.
Ronaldo is impossible. Has Wenger ever bought a player represented by Jorge Mendes? Same goes for James Rodriguez.
In fact, did some research, Donyell Malen is the only player we've bought out of the Raiola/Mendes catalogue of players.
Convinced no 'madness' this window. Would be even more surprised if its any of the BIG/popular names being mentioned
