There has been very little talk at all of moves from the Ozil camp. It'll be interesting now that he's free to talk to clubs what happens. If he resigns with us it'll mean the talk he has aren't what he hoped for. I think plenty of clubs will be interested though. Could see Bayern, Barca and PSG all courting him, and thats before you get to the other English clubs.

Most Premiership footballers are millionaires, and most millionaires are likely to be playboys.

Ozil’s situation isn’t especially special

And again, it doesn't matter if the club are willing to sell if the player himself isn't willing to move. It's well known that clubs approach agents first, if he gives them no encouragement there's no rumours to be had.

Ozil didn't have as high a profile a season as guys like Kane so naturally you'll have less of the houseboat, but I don't buy for a second that just because there's nothing in the Daily Express there's no interest. Guy has been among the best players in the league over the last 3 or 4 months, if no one was interested in taking him now then they need their heads checking.

Most of them are English lads from oop norf or the counties and are engaged or married by the time they're 22. But yeah, it's cool - barely worth the discourse.

If clubs really aren't interested in Özil, then they're all idiots and we can gain from it. I reckon Özil would've done a better job at Barcelona than Coutinho will. Unfortunately all clubs aren't idiots so we need to pay up, or pay much more for a proper replacement.

I'm not surprised no teams came in for him at all in the summer due to how poor and inconsistent he has been, but this season he is back to his best, probably as good as that spell where he had 3 months of crazy assists ratio. Very surprising nobody is in for him this window.

Hopefully it is because he is set on staying.

That ship has sailed now with the signing of Coutinho. I'm resigned to losing Ozil, I just hope he isn't going to link up with that little fucker at the evil empire. Hope he signs for Juve or PSG if he isn't extending his contract

Considering he's likely to earn a lot more this summer I don't think its unlikely at all.

The extra he'd make is also of set by the extra wages he would have made this year. Sanchez has already shown that they don't need to wait to get the big wages.

He shouldn't have given the ball away but a lot needed to be done for the equalizer.
