I don't mind Elnenys tweet now, or I wouldn't if it was in isolation, but this suggests he does have a problem with Sanchez (fair enough) and that his World Cup tweet wasn't just friendly banter but was actually an Arsenal player deliberately goading another Arsenal player he doesn't like on social media.

This sort of thing wouldn't have gone unpunished at Arsenal a few years ago, same with the Iwobi party incident. I worry our discipline is slipping.

Equally would suggest the idea that some tried to projec, that Sanchez was solely to Blame for disharmony, is not accurate and actually the rest of the 'committed' squad have some problems as well.

If you don't like a player show him on the pitch. Give him shit if he's not fighting enough for you rather than whinge after the fact on twitter. Nothing about this incident makes Elneny look good.

True. In an ideal world, Elneny would have given Alexis a flying roundhouse kick to the face in the middle of a game. Insulting him on Twitter still seems acceptable to me, though.

Well its a long way down from Tony Adams throwing lads up against the dressing room wall for underperforming to passive aggressive tweets about players you don't have to face at training the next day. I can't imagine we'll see Elneny put in a reducer on Sanchez when we face United either.

Good on Elneny, I'm happy that it winds people up that he dared show some happiness that we're through to Carabao Cup and that a player who caused hassle because of his petulance, greed, lack of loyalty and gigantic ego is gone.

Terrible but, as the Van Persie/Alexis' switches have shown, it isn't that difficult to get over.
I'm guessing it's because we are no longer their direct competition and keeping Ozil without getting a quality DM/CB & GK is not going to make us title contenders.

Not too bothered with where Ozil goes, or Sanchez these guys are reaching the end of their careers, it would be more painful to see someone like Wilshere join Utd and go on an injury free run.
