Sunderland v Chelsea: Neither of the big signings but Sessegnon debuts for Sunderland.
ManU v Villa: will update
West brom v Wigan: maybe a debut for Vela? (will update)
Vela does debut tonight, worth keeping one eye on SS2.
Wigan just gone 1-2 up. Sunderland holding onto a 2-2 against Chelsea and ManU inevitably cruising.
Rooney has scored his 2nd, Utd look to be cruising at home.
Chelsea won 4-2. ManU 3-1 up.
WBA and Wigan 2-2 at the moment; Vela lasted around 60mins and didn't do much from what, very rusty.
Now lets hope for Spurs and City losing tomorrow.
Looks like City and Spurs slugging it out for 4th spot. Have they played each-other yet?
Pool look like a potentially tidy side again - Gerrard, Meireles, Suarez, Carrol, Kuyt, J. Cole (when fit) are all good options
They're yet to play at the City of Manchester stadium but they played at WHL on the first day of the season....0-0.
I wouldn't be surprised to see a big dip from Spurs soon. The added burden of Champions League will take its toll sooner or later and their squad is pretty mediocre. They don't score nearly enough goals either. I think Sunderland and Liverpool both have a good chance of ending the season above Spurs in the table.
Aston Villa must beat themselves for not handling the summer better. This could have been a good chance for them to push for a top five finish. Instead they're fighting in the other end of the table.
They would be a strong side Aston Villa if Houllier stays at gets his signings in the summer. They are already churning out some good results and those youngsters will be better next year.
