Martinelli out until end of the year - real shame.
Incredible luck we have.
Man that is so fucked. Ugh.
We are cursed. Pray he doesn’t have long term issues.

There is this guy that has videos about injuries and timeline on recovery etc. He said that this is the best out come for this type of injury.
The timeline means he had a repair rather than a removal of the damaged tissue which is only possibly with tears in certain locations that are vascularized (have blood supply). A repair results in less downstream risks especially on the lateral meniscus which is what he reportedly injured
So long term he should be fine. Edit: found he video as well.
Thanks, Homesteak.
The boy Leno is back in training as well. He started running last week and he was making saves yesterday. https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/12239749/bernd-leno-returns-arsenal-training-fa-cup-chelsea/

I know this the injury thread but give us a warning before graphically recommending we watch ragecases Crowe and Bale in a Western.
How did this end up here 😆
Edit: My post was indeed here before I moved it. Coombs is not crazy, at least not for this reason.
😆
Is Mustafi injured because of that Sterling stamp that wasn’t reviewed by VAR?
Doubt it, his hamstring has torn off his bone, though Sterling dad land on that with his knee too. Not sure if an impact can cause that sort of injury though.
Martinelli still in crutches during the post match celebrations. Was hoping to see him eased back into it before the end of the year, am hoping that is the still the timeline.

Sterling's dad is such a jerk. Hate that guy.
Good news.
He’ll be an asset this season. Particularly playing on the right of a back three
Nice. He'll be half-way to a testimonial at the end of the season!
What's the situation with Martinelli? When is he coming back?
He’s only just started walking. Remember he was on crutches at FA Cup. No reported changes to his 2021 return
Last update read they hope he’ll be back in full training by the end of 2020. Maybe he can make his season debut in the FA Cup.
Damn, hoped it would be sooner than that.
