Before his last injury he said that he had to be very careful with his achilles and do lots of exercises to keep them in shape. Is it possible to "fix" such sort of problems by an operation? So maybe the operation he had was a chance to properly heal his achilles and now he would be less hindered by pain?
those exercises were attempts to avoid it snapping. ironically now that it has snapped and he's had surgery, he will be pain free.
Not sure an injury like that ever fully heals.
No, but it certainly won't be worse than it was before. with Kos, that's all we can ask for.. he doesnt have much time left in his career, so if we can get another 2 seasons out of him at relatively full strength, i'm good with that
