Kos had the same problem all last season and churned out a good number of games. Sagna played his last 2 years with similar issues.
what did happen to Wilsh exactly?
Bumped his knee cap by the sound of it

Houseboat.
Judging by his pre-season there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with Santi.
I think it was that Dean guy spreading rumours because he's a big Ramsey fan and wants him in central midfield.
Wenger has said Cazorla isn't 100 percent fit, and that he won't be completely ready when the season starts.
Nobody is ever 100% fit, I think wenger means sharp(match fitness).
I understood him to mean Cazorla is still not completely over his injury from last season.
Doubt we will hear the full extent on Gabriel till September, we will want to keep the fans and any transfer negotiations ok.
Gabriel has written on his instagram that his injury is not too big of a problem. Wonder if the club have got him to post that.
David Ornstein ✔ @bbcsport_david Arsenal CB Gabriel out 6/8wks - ankle sprain. Not quite as bad as he 1st feared but #AFC stepping up pursuit of Valencia's Shkodran Mustafi
Not too bad all in all. Get Mustafi in and we're all good.
😆 "stepping up"
No hurry, Arsène, still a long way to go in the window. Little bit dither.
Pretty good news if it holds up.
Jack is back in full training - The Guardian
Jack Wilshere wrote: “My body can do most things. It just can’t go into ridiculous challenges, especially in training. I went into a tackle [on Gabriel] that I never should have, and I paid the price. It’s something I’ll definitely be working on — not going into challenges that are 20-80.”

It will be a huge bonus if he can stay fit and find some consistent form.
5 years and many injuries later, he finally gets it.
So he tackled Gabriel instead of the other way round. The abuse Gabriel got is pathetic.
Well, by his admission he will still be going into tackles where his chances are better than 20%.
Wilshere speaks of it as a problem with his body, when in fact it was a problem with his brain all along.
