Weirdly I captained Giroud in my fantasy team as I thought he was going to start. Also had Vardy and Mahrez.

I'm not in the draft one, but pleased with captaining Lukaku in the normal one. Picking Mounie was a brave but rewarding choice QS!

I picked up Giroud in the draft, think that may have been an overly emotional decision after his winner vs Leicester :/

He'll still score plenty of the bench and will be first in line if Lacazette gets injured. Over the course of the season he's better than some midtable striker.

If Laca gets injured he's a great asset. I'm focussing on players who play though. So far swapping him for Mounier has worked out.

Who did you dump for him IG?

I got rid of Slimani so my front three is currently Lukaku, Rooney, and Giroud. I'd read a few things indicating that Leicester might move to a 433 with Vardy starting and Slimani on the bench so I decided to get rid while Giroud was available.

I had initially picked up Rooney because I thought that he'd bag a decent amount of goals and take all set-pieces but with Sigurdsson signing for Everton he'll probably take all free kicks and corners now, maybe even penalties too. Might get rid of him too if someone good becomes available.

Thankfully I have Lukaku, who will be a reliable source of goals.

Completely forgot about this, was welcome week at the university. I've got as many points sitting on the bench as the ones who played got for me.

Just had a look at my midfield and so far my very first pick, DeBrunye, has been a total flop, way less points than Phillips and BRunt and even less than Ince.

Wow, that sounds nice. Did your spring semester last long or do you just have an unbelievably long vacation? We usually have a month vacation in Dec/Jan and two and a half in June/July/Aug.

Class is end of September until end of December, 2 weeks holiday followed by exams. Then class from mid January until mid May, followed by exams. Maybe a total of 2 other weeks of holidays sprinkled throughout the school year.

I'd be up for implementing trading, surely we can all agree to not nab a released player once an agreement has been made here?

If you call the two weeks before your exams holiday, then I guess I have a few more holidays as well. 😆 We always have all our exams right before holiday.
