We could fail in our pursuit I guess but it's obvious that Wenger wants him going by his comments, and Valencia have to sell someone to fix their economy.
The question is probably how hard they'll take us to the cleaners since we've left the business late as usual. We don't really have any other options on Mustafi's level now, and I reckon Valencia know it. My main worry is that we'll tell Valencia to do one and go for a player like Evans instead, who's a full tier below Mustafi, just because we refuse to spend a few million extra to get this done.
