So what if we aren't in CL? I'm hoping that this is the jolt that the silent fool at the top needs to go out and start meeting some release clauses. Funny how my timeline is full of reanimated United fans who are more excited that Arsenal isn't on the Champions League than they are that they won a trophy.

Meh. Nothing will change Claudius. We need wholesale changes to the entire club mentality. Radical changes to our approach. The current ownership/management isn't going to provide it.

And Wenger has been a loser for far too long as well, so it's not going to come from him.

We are not going to see any aggressive recruitment of quality players for a while.

I don't think that is the issue. Look at Chelsea and Sprs - neither particularly aggressive (at least by recent benchmarks) in player recruitment. Even Chelsea are full of 25-30m players (Kante, Hazard, Costa, Fabregas, Willian...), Sprs even less so. Just need a modern manager who is up for this.

They don't have to be now. They've done the hard work in seasons past.

We would need 2-3 seasons with a good strategy to get back on song.

We will waste one season at least by giving Wenger a new contract.

We're donating more to Jenkinson and Welbeck every week, so it's not very impressive in that sense.

I'm not a big fan of criticising people for giving away money they don't have to part with though. Every bit helps.

Well its not the only charity the club donates to.

Googling around I don't see donation from other non Manchester clubs either.
