Sissoko rarely does this stuff for Newcastle 😆

He does it all the time I think

He did last season at least. We could do a lot worse than picking him up.

sissoko is pretty much a perfect utility midfielder

i bet Wenger is looking at Sissoko and is thinking..."i've found the prime Diaby!"

Still gutted about Ronaldo. But if this summer has proven one thing, Maradona is still the GOAT.

Yup, we could use that kind of drive, directness and physicality in the middle to complement Ozil

Sissoko's not very consistent but, then again, neither are Newcastle. I would take him as well.

Paul Pogba is a poor man's Abou Diaby.

But at least he is fit.

He's a lot more like (the ideal version of) Diaby than Pirlo or Vieira, that's for sure. There seems to be a general misconception about what type of player he is. The bloke needs free reigns to play if you want to get the most out of him. He's all about touch, movement and superior technique. It's a little weird that he's so restricted for France even though they have two hardworking central midfielders behind him.

And talented.

First half a good representation for the tournament at large - fucking boring.

Umtiti has been brilliant this tournament IMO.

I just googled him to see how long he had left on his contract. Of course Barca picked him up last week.

When your biggest talking point is an injury, you know it's bad.

Can't stand Ronaldo but I do feel for him.

sissoko has been the best player on the pitch, which isnt something i thought id say at half time of a major international final

Yeah, brilliant pickup for them in a very tough market. Very assured for his age.

It's not just the final either; he has easily had as good a tournament as Payet. I'm really impressed.
