His penalty was ridiculous, came on purely for that. That run up. 
They were still there to be taken Invis, they missed as many penalties in that shootout I've seen them miss in 40 years.
But they weren't taken. Next time when a team scores four of theirs, Germany will score five.
And they still won. They were never going to lose a penalty shootout.
