This game reminds me of the number of times we've gone to Chelsea with a team in transition patched up to try and get a result only to get turned over big time. Mourinho and Man U fans in general are going through a massive humbling experience and this is what football can do to you when you don't have the best team. This is a good point actually.

Although I doubt he has enough empathy to understand it quite like that.

Seeing Man U failing made me realise Mouyes has Sunderland sitting at 2 points... At this rate they could finally be the ones to break Derby's record. Yeah, Pogba I understand, but I really had no idea why so many people wanted Ibra here. He's done. He'll score once in a while, but you only have to look at United's attacks to see how much he's holding them back.

Mourinho is a fool for freezing out their best attacker (Martial).

Zlatan would've been awful for us. Some wanted him because of his reputation and gave little thought to how he'd actually fit in. Ageing players with no pace is a no go for us. The early burst of energy is gone and he is probably less mobile than Giroud now.

Having Zlatan up front is like an extremely skillful Peter Crouch currently. He would win all the high balls if you intend to play that way, or be your fox in the box but that's it.

I can't believe how awful Pogba is. On the basis of his performance this season, he isn't even worth 30m, let alone 120m.

Crouch may have looked like a very ugly scarecrow rather than a footballer but he had skills.

A better example would be Niall Quinn whose legs were only used for standing but won every high ball in the box.

The fact that you are doing well doesn't mean there is no room for improvement. And despite being top of the league we've seen evidence of how we could be stifled and punished by more clinical teams. Who knows what form both teams would be in when we meet but i think we need to make adjustments in midfield and play a more compact game than currently if we want to get a result. This is consistent with what others have been saying.

We said the same thing last season and within a few minutes we are 2-0 down.

I don't think the midfield is unskilled but rather imbalanced. Mourinho will know how to set up against us and they will get more freedom to play. You can't legislate for who scores the first goal but you can for the system you play.
