Not for me. He's good in front of goal; good composure and got a broad range of techncial ability in his finishing but his all round game is way, way below the level of a top half Premier League forward in my opinion.

Spurs have done very well , ran out of steam at the 70 minute mark but tactically they have set up well enough to blunt City

I'm glad I watched this game because otherwise I would have got a completely false opinion from the reporting of it (going by the Tyler/Neville/Redknapp bullshit).

I'm very comfortable in where we stand in relation to City and Spurs. If we really have made a step forward - if the last few weeks isn't a bit of fluke or false dawn - we can win this League. We are a better team and have more quality than these two, in my opinion.

Depends on fitness, as always. Kos, bellerin, ozil, and Sánchez all have to stay fit. If we can get 30+ league starts from each of those 4 players then we have a very good chance.

He's not the finished product but for a 19 year old he's got a lot of what it takes. Good movement, pace, strength and finishing. I think he can go on to be a top class player. He's easily a top half Premier League forward.

I read a report that said they 'firmly established their title credentials' with this performance. They didn't look hat good to me from what i saw, just the usual hard running style against a dodgy city defense.

City get exposed when the supply to Silva is cut. A solid start and suddenly people are taken in by this talk of them dominating the league. There are no clear favourites in this league.

Danny Rose is a cunt. He spent half of the game trying to get Sterling sent off. Don't know how he makes the England squad.

Think Guardiola fucked up with his team, you're right in that the supply to Silva was cut but De Bryune and Gundogan would have helped.

Seemed like choosing Fernando was trying to play Spurs at their own game and it failed badly.

What will be forgotten is that Aguero and Ihneacho missed a half dozen chances between them that they'd normally score. If one of those had gone in the game changes completely.

Completely missed the games this weekend as I was busy with a family engagement. The media seems to be playing Sp*rs up to be title contenders - were they really that good? They have had a flying start to the season despite some tough games - Liverpool, Everton, Man City.

Doesn't feel like there's been much change there over the summer—I think they're about as good as last season, great continuity, perhaps a bit better prepared and more confident.

Player for player we have more quality than them, but they are well-drilled and ambitious and Pochettino is desperate to win something.

We still have what it takes to finish ahead of them over the season.

They have been very fortunate with Son coming to life! I doubt Poch expected him to contribute this much. I think they are very credible threat for the title.

The problem wasn't the team Guardiola picked, it was the fact that they couldn't match Tottenham's intensity and were stopped from dictating the tempo like they did against United. Celtic did something similar and rattled them. Guardiola is still learning about his team just like Mourinho and Cante and this is where we have to take advantage.

Guardiola's pronounced tactical preference for grabbing every match by the scruff of the neck could prove to be a problem over all the Premier League and Champions League fixtures.

His team are a little less well-rounded than his squads at Barca and Bayern and the fixtures themselves are a bit more torrid in the PL.

I think this is why he tried to rotate a bit but as you say the league is turbulent and you get punished for the smallest drop in level. De Bruyne's absence also hurt them which says a lot about their depth.
