They probably need to be a bit worse off first. Mourinho doesn't want to repeat the mistake he made with Terry last year.
It's getting ridiculous watching Rooney strolling around and screwing up though. He's not a Premier League level footballer anymore. With lungs like that he'd probably struggle in the Championship too. It begs belief that he keeps playing 90 minutes in every game. I've never seen anything like it.
