No pace - they need to drop Fellaini as well.
Bailly looks like a dud to me - doesn't seem to know how to position himself at all.
pool look lethal going forward. starting to look a bit like their 13/14 side which is a worry. hopefully their defense continues to be shit, and they struggle without mane when he goes to the afcon
Pep seems to have pulled off the 4141 which Wenger tried. Like for like comparison:
Sterling-Silva-Bruyne-Nolito -----------Aguero
Chambo-Cazorla-Ozil-Perez ----------Sanchez
Özil plays a lot higher up the pitch than Cazorla does. We obviously don't try to line up that way.

Needs to give pogba a free role behind zlatan and drop Rooney. He can play a schneiderlin + someone double pivot in midfield to do the dirty work.
rooney has become accustomed to getting what he wants at united. benching him is what ive felt would be the biggest challenge for mourinho and possibly the first domino of his undoing. the dressing room could start souring if it happens
Bit concerned spurs might win the league
Sane is going to be very good for City - seems to glide with the ball and is a unit too

easier to pull off when every single player he has in those 5 roles is better all-around in that position than their like for like comparison.
Not sure about that, Silva and Bruyne are as much central midfielders as Cazorla and Ozil. Only pep has managed to make it work, so far.

We should have just enough to beat them to top 4 Inconsistent but with a full week between matches it will improve their concentration and focus hence making them less erratic. They are a legit title contender IMO.

Don't think so. They have a poor defence and their attacking blow hot and cold. They're a good team to watch when its going right for them but they don't have the quality to do it every week. Klopp is quality though, pity we didn't get him.
They lost to burnley two games ago.
They're exactly as inconsistent as they've always been. They're a threat to top four but there's little chance of them challenging for the title. Even their own nutty fans don't think so
Who would have thought they would challenge 3 years ago?
Not having any distractions is massive, I mean look no further than Leicester last season.
To use Leicester as an example is now the new thing, isn't it? It doesn't make much sense to me, since what Leicester did has happened exactly last season and at no other time in modern football.
Some moron calls off Fabianski to head it right to Costa, Chelsea score
😆 That miss by Costa!
Cart horse clowning now, penalty Swansea. And 1-1
