GooneriC He won't be the next PM but will ride this out, someone will be thrown under the bus and they'll plod along. Completely unserious party, they're coming down from their peak and won't get to those numbers again unless something drastic changes
Other news Keir Starmer stays true to his premiership and does another U turn right at the end. Announces he is standing down as an MP despite saying he wouldn't. Infact he mocked Rishi Sunak and said he would leave if he didn't win. Well Rishi is still an MP and Starmer got what he wanted to become PM and now being an MP is clearly beneath him.
Greens think they have a chance, Polanski wants to stand. I do think that is a very high risk strategy. Greens like Reform are being found out as an unserious party and come down from their peak so Polanski probably needs a high profile victory. Problem is if he loses that is him finished and with Burnham pinching back a lot of those Green votes it won't be a straight forward contest.
