It's a deep rooted resentment and jealousy Jones. It's the same with the rugger. They make a lot of noise but then go all Spursy when we better them

It's pretty small nation mentality. I get backing the underdog and having a laugh etc but that's going up a level from a "bit of banter" and does indicate a real deep rooted resentment. Haven't seen a team go that berserk over some result that has no impact on them before. They didn't celebrate that much for their own wins. Regret feeling happy for them going through seeing that tbh.

Not sure why Hamman singles out Ramsey when it was the entire squad though. Typical Liverpool bitterness I guess though there's a couple of them in the squad too.

Don't know about jealousy tbh but it's definitely small time. Don't know too much about Welsh-English relations but I don't see what there is to celebrate about, that'd be OTT even for the Scottish or Irish.

There are a few national teams that I love seeing fail but I've never even remotely celebrated one of them going out like that, and unlike certain platinum haired blokes I'm not even friends/team mates with one of those who went out.

Great-Granddad on my mother's side was Welsh, and for whatever reason I've always been interested in the country and all the Celtic/Brythonic stuff, even though I'm English. Pretty lame of them, tbh, but I don't really care so much. Still hope they win.

I'd be small time if a big country did it. For Wales it was huge just qualifying for the Euros.

Don't think Ramsey has problems with Wilshere. Bale was among those celebrating, and England were basically Tottenham. 😆
