I do think people's private opinions are relevant to their roles as public figures though. We need to hold politicians and lawmakers to a different standard than your average internet troll. Bone isn't a great example since he's neither, but there are plenty of people who only drop the act when they think they're not being watched. I have no problem with chat logs and IP tracking exposing them for what they are.

Of course in the case of someone like Trump you don't really need either; the shocking opinions are already posted on his official twitter account. He's a dangerous whack job, but at least it's obvious to everyone.

Oh I think it's completely fair to question politicians on their opinions, history, etc but bone was a guy who asked a question at a debate. People took the piss out of him online and he took it in good humour so some prick at Gizmodo decided to take him down. I'd love to see 4chan or someone expose that hacks private info in some way or another. Reveal his porn habits for instance.

Trump scores lower in science than Gary Johnson... the guy who said we shouldn't worry about global warming because he had read that the earth will fall into the sun in about 4 billion years anyway.

That's like losing an astronomy debate to someone who thinks the moon is made of cheese.

Trump crying about the election being rigged all week, which it isn't of course, is looking increasingly more and more dangerous. Saw a piece yesterday where a couple of Trump supporters with open carry licenses were camped outside of Hillary campaign quarters somewhere for 16 hours. Looking in through the windows, showing their guns. Unbelievable. You also here Trump supporters now openly speaking of civil war and 'taking Hillary out' if she wins. Great that all these nuts are pro guns as well, and several of them have open carry licenses...

Thats a pretty awful article that doesn't take a very scientific approach at rating the candidates. Of course Trump should be bottom though, he thinks climate change is a Chinese conspiracy.

chris wallace doing great till now. Outing Drumpf for being the rambling buffoon that he is against clinton. First two of his answers were pure rambling. Unfortunately, his supporters think in and understand that kind of dumb language only, I suspect.

The only reason this presidential race is close is because of the Supreme Court implications that go with Trump and Clinton IMO. Trump has his base of nutters, obviously, but the number of reasonably sane people who jump through all these mental hoops to justify voting for Trump because of either abortion or guns is absolutely both sickening and disgusting to me.

The race is not close and was over long before the revelations as i remember reading his campaign had run out of funds months ago.
trump's only hope was for the email scandal to trip up clinton and now it's all about the size of the landslide.
