Was just locker room bantz!

Nope, nope, and nope. And while I doubt there is a Savile-esque trail of actual wrongdoing, what he said is totally disqualifying.

Have to say it as well, those defending him with the "locker room" line aren't coming off half as clever as they might think

The mentality is the same as Savile's, the scale of offences committed doesn't have to be of Savile level to make the thinking any less dangerous.
His ex wife testified under oath that he raped her.

The shocking thing is Actually hearing Trump talk dirty like the egomaniacal predator that he is regarding women.
Tomorrow night will be Insane!

Y'va your statements are crazy, comparing Trump to Saville.

Anyway, Trump will come fighting in tomorrow's debate.

I'd say it's extremely on point considering Trump has been accused of raping a 13 year old girl.

Really?
I took quotes from both and the quotes demonstrated an uncanny similarity in terms of how they perceived their power to do as they pleased.

Yeah, I think the comparison is apt. Bill Cosby's another reference that doesn't feel too far-fetched. The accusations were around for decades in his case and came from a multitude of women. Same with Trump. They don't even bother to keep up appearances. Cosby used to do a standup routine about how he roofied women, Trump brags about how he can do whatever he wants to women because he's rich.

There's a good writeup here (I know it's Huff Post and some of you are allergic to them, but it was one of the first hits in Google and the article is written by a legal expert who's on point) about some of the past accusations against Trump, and it's one long ugly read: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/lisa-bloom/why-the-new-child-rape-ca_b_10619944.html

Don't get the reference, but I mean "entertaining" in the sense that there's some newly disgusting thing about him revealed almost every month.

She means that sooner or later people will realize that it's not a clown, it's Pennywise from Stephen King's It.

And TBF Bill Clinton fits into that category too.

This whole election cycle is crazy. At least there is a bit of entertainment watching Trump go down in flames now.

This election has been a disaster, but I still think it's the start of a new (and better) political alignment in the US.

Well the US economy is doing well. They need the dollar to weaken a tad but that's nothing monetary policy can't sort out

That in and of itself will be an interesting angle, the default line of logic for a lot of Americans is that Democrats will ruin the economy but Obama's actually done well in his second stint in terms of sorting out the economy (after a mediocre first term). He's even beaten a lot of the promises that Romnney ran on in 2012.

Yep indeed. That said their level of borrowing is still astronomical

The US economy isn't doing well. If it were, Trump wouldn't be the Republican nominee for president.

It's been doing well of late hence the rate hike projections

Elsewhere the rest of the world is slicing interest rates with the Japanese mucking about with negative rates and toying with the idea of helicopter money and trying to manipulate long term yields with selling off of long term bonds

Best twitter account this election season.

Trump is now hosting a Q&A surrounded by women who have made accusations against Bill Clinton in the past.

This is properly insane.

He'll MakeAmericaGropeAgain once he's done to MakeAmericaGagAgain.

In all the entertainment value I'd forgotten why politics is nothing less than my community trash can.

Surely this was something hillary and her team have anticipated and prepared for, for a long time now.

Disturbing, insane, this Trump.
I'm ashamed that it has come to this.

Did he really just say: "No one has more respect for women than I do"?

Got a few zingers in, he might overdo things by the end...although his supporters must love it.

I'm not following the debate, but how the hell is he trying to make Hillary responsible for the actions of Bill Clinton?

Did he just respond to a question about Islamophobia with....more Islamophobia?

Started with "It's a shame" ---and then quickly back to the standard rhetoric. Muslims need to report and it's done.

"She's got bad judgement, and so bad that honestly she should never be president of the United States."

Trump has the best words.

Drumpf trying to project stamina by standing the whole way but slowly leaning over the table and chair more and more.

Trump's a nut but Clinton's so lacking in substance as well.

Hillary Clinton isnt a good debater. Obama would have given Trump a stroke.

Well she has him as a major part of her campaign so he's fair game. There's also allegations that she threatened them after the fact.

It's a desperation move from him because attacking her on this has never worked.

I also don't think women voters, whom Trump is trying to reach out to, will take it all that well that Trump is trying to hold Hillary responsible for sins of her husband.
I actually think Trump did a lot better than I expected! Then again, my expectations were really, really low. He is absolute scum though.

I think if Bernie or someone had questioned her feminist credentials over the allegations of her bullying and silencing Bills alleged victims then it may have had a possible effect (it also could have backfired) but I doubt anyone is going to take Trump too seriously about it.

I think barring something coming to light that showed Hillary really fucking over one of Bills victims its unlikely that anyone is going to see her as being out of line in being a bit horrible to women who had sex with her husband (I'm sure she doesn't accept that he raped anyone).

I'm also sure there will be more than one allegation against Trump in the next two weeks, because he obviously lied yesterday about not having done what he described on that recording.
