Yeah, there certainly are, those types are just less visible—such as that of the liberals who look at racist anti-immigration politicians and say "this great country is better than that". That kind of nationalism is incredibly widespread and is a deep and slow-acting poison in and of itself.
I agree with you about the genesis of this current phase of nationalism in Europe, its roots do go back further than the past ten years that's true.
