You look at Liverpool's or Chelsea's midfield and the way the execute the press and it's coordinated like it should be. Henderson and Wijnaldum are no better than our lot technically but they are mobile, graft hard and their passing is crisp. They also have Lallana doing a lot of ball carrying and hard running. That's 3 very mobile hard working players in midfield. We have only 1/5 players doing this and it's no coincidence we've struggled in the big away games this season as we continually get outnumbered. Even when we drop deep and play on the counter, we still get outnumbered as Ozil would sit on the peripheries of the half way line and won't drop deep enough to make it a 3man modified. This is now a question of pragmatism because if we carry on with this set up, we will most certainly get knocked out by Bayern convincingly and also end up in a scrap for 4th.
