I don't trust us either. Good thing about this season is not many teams can be trusted. Everyone is once again in a mini or major transition trying to integrate players.

I feel relatively happy with our squad for once and, yes, Mustafi has certainly showed how much we missed a class player to partner Koscielny. More than that, I'm very happy that they seem to work so well together! Due to the similarities between them in style, I was a bit worried they wouldn't complement each other.

Still wish we had a top tier striker but its the best shape we've been in for a long time. There are always weak points but we have good squad depth now.

Yep, I feel like ultimately that'll come back to bite us. The season so far reminds me of last season, where we seemed to start well, thrashed United, but then went downhill, mostly because of our lack of goals.

I'm anxious for Perez to get some game time because I think we will need him in to be useful this season. Wenger seems to be doing an Elneny on him.

We could have a serious problem this time next year where players like Eleney, Perez and the Ox will look to leave due to lack of game time. Wenger needs to seriously manage his squad better.

We will never get a better squad under Wenger than the one we do now.

We've scored as many goals as Man City now. We're definitely more free scoring than last season but it's debatable how long it'll last

Players like this are easily replaceable, because guess what - they are squad players :hat:

I'm going to argue that Alexis IS a top tier striker. He isn't perfect, nor is he fully accustomed to the position, but he is undoubtedly a top tier player who as a striker is producing top tier numbers so far. Normally, that would mean we lack quality on our flanks, but with both Iwobi and Walcott stepping up in a big way so far, we don't. Yet. 🙂

True, last season this time IIRC we had a goal scoring problem, though not a chance creation problem.

Considering our attack is essentially the same as last season, I fear the goals might dry up again.
