Does anyone here do it?

If so what software do you use?

How do you get passed all the legal stuff that youtube seems to use when bringing down an uploaded vid?

I once made a compilation of Arsenal vs Napoli at home when he played them off the park, and it was swiftly removed which I thought was strange because I had my own intro, my own watermark in the bottom corner of the video and free music.

But youtube users such as ScoutNationHD have endless videos which all somehow get round certain laws. Any help at all?

I want to make a couple in the near future.

Seems like match highlights are generally not allowed but player compilations are ok?

I used to dabble in it myself with some pretty high tech editing software but didn't have to time to continue. Here's one of my better ones:

😆 Otf

As for making compilations...

Try Sony Vegas if you're on a PC. It's both the most powerful program and the easiest one to use. It's terribly easy to steal too. Only downside is that it can't play mkv files, but I don't know of any video editing software that does. Luckily mkv is just a container format and is very easy to convert to mp4 (which Vegas does read).

As for match footage, just crop out all the logos and match clocks either by zooming in slightly until they fall outside the edge or by adding borders. Without the logos you don't have all the various network channels making copyright claims, and the rest generally falls under fair use unless you try to upload entire games.
