Always thought he was much younger which is why I was impressed with his pace and power and thought his finishing would improve but at that age he's probably already played through his prime and is going to be going downhill (which isn't saying much because his current level isn't all that great unless he was a youngster). Although I did wonder if the likes of Giroud / Martinez / Llorente are only meant as options long enough for the likes of Welbeck & Akpom/Sanogo to develop, or until an elite forward becomes available?
Martinez @ 25m seems like a decent option on current market values where the likes of Mandzukic & Co are going for 5-10m more.
