Get Isco and Gundogan done Wenger. Gundogan should be fairly cheap in his last year of contract as well. Should be able to get both for around 45-50m.

That would be a shit transfer window IMO. A good, but physically weak, central midfielder who can't be an option for Coquelin, and another attacking midget midfielder with no pace. I'd much rather take Schneiderlin and Reus, thank you very much. That would at least give us a fighting chance to win the title, whereas Gundogan and Isco wouldn't bring us an inch closer. IMO.

Bale and Reus over Isco is correct, but if we are talking purely about Isco as a player I'd love to have him here.

Anyway, FWIW everyone thought James won't live up to standard in Madrid but so far he's been brilliant there as well.

Definitely. Not sure where he'd fit in yet but I'd take him. I wouldn't spend £40 million on him, but it makes sense to buy now while his stock is low. I think he's going to be stellar for Everton next year.

Draxler would be a decent pick up. Prefer Thauvin myself

That Isco vid is insane. Don't see much of Madrid, but wow, what a talent. Potential replacement for an aging Cazorla?

Agree with Rex though, Reus etc. should be priority over an Isco type. This summer at least.

I'd rather we signed Depay than Isco too. If we are to persist with Giroud, who is streaky at best, we need to add goals from a source other than Alexis.

And before we get the 'we have plenty of scoring options' - yes I know they 'can' score, but IMO they are not a bona fide genuine 3 goal threat.

Because he costed like 40m in excess.

I always liked him but didn't think he would be this good. He used to only play on the right wing for Porto but ever since moving centrally he is even better. Never thought he would be better than Isco, he is certainly less talented imo but is far more effective.
