Sure I can. We should play with a 10 in most games IMO, and both Özil and Alexis are comfortably better than Cazorla in that position. As a winger, Cazorla just isn't good enough, or suited to the kind of game I want us to play. Ox, Walcott, Alexis - they are all in the mold I want my wing players to be in. We only have 3, so we need one more, and preferably a top class one such as Reus.
To me, Cazorla is the odd man out. The thing with having a better squad is that you have to sell really good players to make room for others who better fit the sort of football you want to play.
Supposing there won't be any major changes in formation, I want us to play like this in most games:
------------Welbeck
Reus--------Özil--------Alexis
------Ramsey-----Schneiderlin
When playing top teams you want the option to strengthen the middle of the park. That's where you think about moving Özil and add someone like Coquelin to the midfield and play a more flat midfield 3.
With Reus and Schneiderlin we would have class cover in every position too; Chambo and Walcott at the flanks, Alexis or Reus in the middle if Özil is not available, and Coquelin, Wilshere and Arteta for central midfield.
Two players like Reus and Schneiderlin, and preferably the actual Reus, would be where I'd spunk all our money in the summer. I have resigned to the idea that we aren't getting a top class striker, so that is where the money should be spent.
