Isak is not the answer, I really don't see a top player in him. And no more skinny guys who get injured all the time, we all had enough of those for a lifetime during the Emirates Wenger years.

He's quality. Although think west ham will try to fleece us so hard for him and we have a lot more options now ..

Remember wish listing him as an 8 when he was at Lyon but some genius on here said he can't play there and I didn't know what I was talking about because I hadn't seen him play 8945 full games ..

RowJimmy The players you mention haven't played centre back for Arsenal in over a year I believe. If either of Saliba or Gabriel is injured, our season is over.

But yeah, your overall point still stands. It's actually got to the point that whoever comes in to replace Saliba and Gabriel will be an automatic downgrade.

Gazza M the contract is the issue. If Arteta thought he could get his attitude right I'd be ok but not on those wages. Bit like Havertz who's doing a decent job now but the deal was still a bad one given the money involved.

as for gyokeres, he looks like one of those guys whose pace and power advantage would be neutralised in the epl, and with only his fairly agricultural technique to rely he could be reduced to dirk kuyt status
