No it’s not. Centrebacks were by far our biggest issue. We still need another because only White and Gabriel are good enough to regularly start for us!

Don’t give Arteta ideas, he’ll spend another 50m on Coady.

Still can’t believe we spent 80m on White and Ramsdale. Worse than the Xhaka / Mustafi / Perez window.

Its unbelievable we spent so big on those 2 and still have Xhaka as our 1st choice midfielder and Cedric as first choice right back.

Totally didn't improve the first XI. A defender isn't going to do much if you have so much weakness elsewhere

Don’t get it twisted, Coady would be our best center back.

We needed to improve the system. The only way to do that would be in the engine room. Instead we are still starting Xhaka.

No new right back, although he wants overlapping full backs, as it seems it is the only way we can attack.

Complete and utter disaster of a window.

When the fans can see what is happening and call it before the “brain trust” can, you will be going nowhere.

Rumours that we will make a move for Belotti

Quite like him. Would he give us a focal point?

Only if Conte comes with him.

If not we are wasting our time

I just can’t get over that defence we put out today. Worst in the league.

Thought he was going to inter?

Not what we need anyway.

I started the summer putting my nose up at Bissouma, now I'm praying for a last min desperate move for him. Edu needs to have a quiet word with Potter about potential job opportunities to make him more amenable.

I cannot believe we're going to have another season where Xhaka and Elneny have prominent roles.

Not going to Inter as they got Joaquin Correa and their management says no more spending given their financial limitations. All of Serie A are pretty broke, I think Juventus is doing some loan with option to buy for 2 years for Moise Kean as their Ronaldo replacement!

Looks like Willian is off. Hopefully we can shift Kolasinac, Bellerin and Nketiah at the very least.

Need to strengthen.

Sign Bissouma, a rightback. Then I’d even be tempted to take a punt on Aouar at the price

Or try and do a deal with Juve for an Auba Mckennie swap. Then get Belotti

——————-Ramsdale
New RB—-White——Gabriel—Tierney
——————-Bissouma
———-Partey——Mkennie
—Odegaard———————Saka
——————-Belotti

no panic buys please. just bomb as many dead enders out as possible, and cut arteta and edu off from further spending

I don't see a chance of us goong flr Bissouma when we've already signed Lokonga. Different types of player, but similar positions on the pitch.

Have been seeing a few comments that Bissouma is too much like Partey, let alone that both would likely be away re AFCON in Feb.

Bissouma isn't like Partey. Much more of a real 6.

The comments I've seen say that he is possibly more akin to a B2B ball winner rather than a sitting DM type, and Partey is also considered to be strong in defence but also a B2B player.  Also read that whilst Bissouma is seen as being a ball winner, he is actually a converted AM from his junior days.

He's Brighton deepest mid, against big teams plays as a proper screen. He's got a great engine and gets around the pitch but he's still the main DM and off the ball sits deep. He'd be ideal with Partey and Odegaard. I'd go as far as to say he'd transform our midfield the way VVD transformed Liverpools defence.

And then you remember we have Arteta. He will transform our midfield into some conservative defensive shit. No matter how many players you get as a multiplier we have the biggest divider in charge.

Yep. That’s a sackable offence. Ballerina, AMN or Tavares would all have been better at right back.

And as for playing Kolasinac. Just beggars belief.
