I think Qs asked me this recently and I didn't reply (apologies Qs). My opinion isn't any better informed than others' in here. I remember him as a youngster at Aberdeen but I don't follow Scottish football that closely.
I think he's a good player, but he's good in a system that suits him, with players that he has an understanding and chemistry with. I don't think he's world class or has another level to go up, which concerns me in any potential targets, as we need to be signing players with both a decent level of current ability and potential for further growth in my opinion.
My main concern is our system. No one knows what formation we'll play on any given week, and I think Fraser's skill set is a little narrow for a squad member under such circumstances. If we were guaranteed to be playing a certain number of games that involved wide players, and we could get him at a decent price, I wouldn't be against it. He's a player full of compromises for us but I suppose that's where we're at these days.
