I've only seen YouTube videos, but Pepe doesn't look as good as the buzz on here had me thinking he'd look.
He seems quite awkward and unbalanced; strange ball striking technique too. Doesn't seem to be a particularly good ball carrier or have devastating pace. Most incidents of beating his man on YouTube come from a static position.
As I say, I'm no expert at all, and there's only one touch video on YouTube of him--so not much to go on--and he's pretty poor in a game against PSG. Even in his highlights I'm not blown away.
